aConnect – Links volunteers with pediatric cancer families to lovingly provide for their needs.

Day At The Game – Sometimes cancer needs to take a back seat. Our Day at the Game Program provides a memorable one-day fan experience lettings kids and their families live out their dreams.  We can arrange for tickets and expenses for regional sporting events, tours of facilities when available and possible personal meetings with players, coaches, mascots and/or cheerleaders.

Go Gold! – Seeks to raise awareness of pediatric cancer and its symbol: the gold ribbon.

Guess Who’s Coming To See You? – Sometimes getting a surprise visit from a local hero, sports figure or regional celebrity is just the boost that a pediatric cancer patient needs. Our program enlists local and regional heroes to visit patients. Past visits have included: Southeastern Conference athletic coaches and mascots, radio and television personalities, local and regional college athletes and professional athletes.

Hope Lives On – Seeks to walk with parents and siblings as they journey through the grief of losing a child to pediatric cancer.

Personal Care Bags – A shocking diagnosis or a sudden change in treatment often leads to an unexpected hospital stay. Our Personal Care Bag Program delivers items such as soap, shampoo, and deodorant to families who find themselves in an unexpected hospital stay.

Special Events – Events that celebrate exceptional occasions for families such as completing chemo treatments.

Warm And Fuzzies – Sometimes pediatric cancer patients are in for an extended stay at the hospital. Our Warm and Fuzzy program aims to create a family-like atmosphere inside Children’s Hospital of Alabama that lets the family know they are supported and remembered.
